Celebrating the Success of J5 EV as Indonesia’s No.1 Best-Selling EV, JAECOO Presents JAECOO LAND Festival

JAECOO Indonesia presents JAECOO LAND 2026, taking place on 11–12 April 2026 at One Satrio, South Jakarta, as a celebration of the achievement of the JAECOO J5 EV, which has become the No.1 best-selling Electric Vehicle (EV) model in Indonesia as of March 2026. This milestone reflects the growing market enthusiasm for JAECOO’s electric vehicle lineup in the country.

Jakarta, 11 April 2026 – JAECOO Indonesia presents JAECOO LAND 2026, taking place on 11–12 April 2026 at One Satrio, South Jakarta, as a celebration of the achievement of the JAECOO J5 EV, which has become the No.1 best-selling Electric Vehicle (EV) model in Indonesia as of March 2026. This milestone reflects the growing market enthusiasm for JAECOO’s electric vehicle lineup in the country.

 

Based on GAIKINDO retail data, J5 EV sales have shown consistent growth, reaching 1,942 units in January, 2,926 units in February, and 2,775 units in March. In response to strong demand, JAECOO continues to accelerate its distribution process, targeting a total of 13,000 units of J5 EV to be delivered to customers by the end of April 2026.

 

“The enthusiasm for the J5 EV continues to show a very positive trend and has become a key driver of our growth in Indonesia. This reinforces our optimism in achieving the target of delivering 13,000 units to customers by the end of April, in line with our commitment to ensuring an optimal distribution process,” said Jim Ma, Business Unit Director of JAECOO Indonesia.

 

This strong momentum in Indonesia forms part of JAECOO’s broader global growth, which continues to demonstrate robust performance. To date, JAECOO has reached more than 960,000 customers across 64 countries, approaching the milestone of 1 million units globally.

 

In line with its expansion, JAECOO is also celebrating three years of global brand development, marked by consistently increasing achievements. In March 2026, JAECOO recorded global sales of 61,254 units, representing a 210% year-on-year increase and its highest-ever monthly sales record.

 

This growth has been driven in part by the performance of New Energy Vehicles (NEV), with total sales reaching 39,716 units globally, up 471% year-on-year—reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering modern, efficient mobility solutions that meet evolving consumer needs.

 

In the United Kingdom, JAECOO also demonstrated strong performance, recording total sales of over 12,000 units in March 2026 and achieving a market share of over 3%. The JAECOO J7 became the best-selling model during the period, with sales exceeding 10,000 units.

 

This global growth is also reflected in Indonesia, where JAECOO recorded total retail sales of 7,927 units from its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup during the January–March 2026 period.

 

Through JAECOO LAND, the brand also reinforces its commitment to getting closer to consumers and communities by delivering experiences that are more relevant and connected to urban lifestyles.

JAECOO LAND 2026 Brings Integrated Lifestyle Experiences and Modern Mobility Innovation 

In line with JAECOO’s growth in Indonesia, JAECOO LAND is designed to strengthen consumer engagement through experiences that are closer and more relevant to everyday life. Through its L.A.N.D concept (Lifestyle, Adventure, Nature, and Discovery), the event is curated to present a dynamic and inclusive lifestyle by connecting modern mobility technology with urban activities.

 

Over the course of two days, visitors can enjoy a wide range of interactive activities curated for various audiences. These include a creative bazaar featuring more than 20 tenants, live music performances, and wellness sessions such as yoga and pilates led by experts, including a Zumba session with Sana Studio. In addition, JAECOO LAND features an inspiring talk show with renowned Indonesian explorer Julian Johan (Jejelogy), a dedicated playground for children, as well as a special pet experience area offering unique activities for pet lovers.

 

As part of the experience, visitors can also test drive JAECOO’s vehicle lineup, including the J5 EV, J7 SHS-P, and J8 SHS-P ARDIS, while gaining deeper insights into the technologies offered—ranging from electric vehicles to the Super Hybrid System (SHS), designed to support efficiency and flexibility in everyday use.

 

With this series of activities, JAECOO LAND 2026 not only offers a weekend experience but also reinforces JAECOO’s commitment to delivering modern mobility solutions that are efficient and aligned with the development of new energy vehicles in Indonesia.

 

Currently, JAECOO operates 32 dealerships across Indonesia, including its latest opening in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, with an additional 25 dealerships set to open in various regions. This network expansion reflects JAECOO’s commitment to getting closer to consumers while supporting long-term growth in the national automotive market, with a target of reaching up to 80 outlets across Indonesia by the end of the year.
