Jaecoo, a Chinese automotive brand founded by Chery International will test drive one of its flagship models, the Jaecoo 7 or commonly called the J7.
Based on the official statement received by the coil, the J7 SHS (Super Hybrid System) will conduct a Super Hybrid Long Range endurance test for 1,200 kilometers from Jakarta to Bali. The endurance test is designed to demonstrate driving performance in Indonesia.
Director of Jaecoo Indonesia, Max Zhou explained, the trial is also to meet global challenges by testing the vehicle in various terrains and climates, the route from Jakarta to Bali.
Later, the adaptability of the J7 SHS will be tested during the trip both from the contours of the road, the terrain traveled to the weather.
“This Jakarta-Bali challenge is an opportunity to bring our global achievements to Indonesia. It's about showing Indonesian drivers the future of sustainable mobility, where efficiency meets driving pleasure,” Zhou said through an official statement received Wednesday (8/1/2025).
Previously, in October 2024, the J7 SHS was able to record a feat by traveling 1,353 kilometers on just one 51-liter capacity fuel tank when meeting a global long-distance challenge.
The challenge involved seven countries ranging from Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The culmination of the journey was from Guangzhou to Wuhu, China.
“This achievement demonstrates the advanced technology available in the J7 SHS. We are committed to delivering high-quality vehicles that combine innovative technology with outstanding performance,” he said.
